Why does Yahoo Messenger always make itself a startup item?

I can remove Yahoo Messenger from the startup of my computer by running msconfig.exe but after I run the latest update of Yahoo Messenger with Voice it sets itself in there again to run on startup, it doesn't pop-up, it runs passively with the grey face, I don't like this at all as it takes system memory resources. Why does it do this?

Anytime that you update or re-install yahoo it will do this. You have to go back to msconfig and uncheck it again. there is no way around it.
