How could I have reached my answering limit already?

I'm trying to reach level three and I have over 800 points. I don't think I've reached my limit yet but Yahoo says I have. Whats the deal? Its not fair.

Yahoo Answers works on a percentage system. It was designed that way to prevent people from gaining points by just posting any crazy answer. I have not looked at any of your answers, but it is clear looking at your stats what the problem is. Only 3% of answers you have given thus far were rated Best Answers. This means that 96% of you answers were not good enough, and you need to focus on providing better answers or you will find it difficult moving up the point levels.

10 points please!!!!

I think 40 answers is the limit for level 2. There's somewhere that you can check.

ya it sucks, but thats the way it is. After you have reached your answering limit and you want more points to get to next level then...do some resolved questions (thumbs up and down) and vote for best answers.

You've probably answered 40 questions (your limit) in a 24-hour period or less, so Yahoo! won't let you answer anymore. Try answering questions in a few hours - maybe if you came on yesterday at 1pm, try coming on again at 2pm and see if your limit has been reset for today.

hi,

did you look at the time?

you maynot have passed the 24 HOURS which is counted as ONE DAY.

if that is the case you might have aswered yesterday night and today morning but you hav not passed a 24 hours since your last visit (u earn a point on eachday, i use that as a check point)

i got todays point at 10 that means i wont get another visiting point till tommorrow 9:59

but at 10 (when you visited) my answers get reset and VOILA 40 more!!!!!
