HP a622n won't power up?

The light on the power button blinks, as does the light on the back of the power supply, but nothing else happens. Is this a power supply problem or is it more likely I have a different problem?

Addtional details: About two weeks ago, lightning surge through my cable system fried my cable modem, two TVs, and a VCR. I wasn't able to configure my new cable modem for the Ethernet connection and had to use the USB port.

Aside from the blinking light, there's no sound or activity at all.

Lightning will do it every time. Likely something is dead.
