Keep it as moisturised as possible, that will hopfully keep it from peeling. And Put "Bactine" (it is an anti-septic spray) on it to keep it clean and it will help reduce the pain. Good Luck

First of all if the sun poisoning was caused by a sunburn, then yes, your face will peel. I suggest that you lather on the aloevera gel to sooth the burnm and at night you should put a light vitamin E gel on your face to prevent scarring or blotchiness.

For the bumps, I suggest patting them with witch hazel, or a diluted tea (Liptons is fine)...the tannic acid in the tea will also sooth you.

Good Luck! Next time wear your sun screen.

Alternate 10-15 minutes with a unfragranced medicated cooling aloe vera gel and cold compress. Drink plenty of water and take vitamin E daily. Once it's healed to where it's no longer red and painful, continue using the aloe along with vitamin E capsules on your face as a treatment once a day or every other day (leave on for 10-15mins).

Use vitamin e oil. Thats what your skin is made of. You can buy it at a health food shop. Use aloe vera if your skin is sore. Use lavender mixed with natural body lotion to take the bumps away, and use natural yoghurt to make it nice and cool and less red.
