Retired Single Digit New York Yankee Uniform Numbers?
There are nine single digit uniform numbers 1-9. Of these nine numbers, the New York Yankees have retired seven of them. The two that are not retired are worn by present Yankees. List the retired numbers and who they were retired for. Name the Yankees who wear the unretired numbers. Extra question: One of the single digit uniform numbers was actually retired for two players...which number was it and who are the two players?

1 Billy Martin 3 Babe Ruth 4 Lou Gehrig 5 Joe DiMaggio 7 Mickey Mantle 8 Bill Dickey 8 Yogi Berra 9 Roger Maris 2 Derek Jeter and 6 Joe Torre will probably be retired in the future.
The retired numbers from 1 to 9 are: 1 - Billy Martin, 3 - Babe Ruth, 4 - Lou Gehrig, 5 - Joe DiMaggio, 7 - Mickey Mantle, 8 - Bill Dickey and Yogi Berra, and 9 - Roger Maris. The unretired numbers from 1 to 9 are: 2 - Derek Jeter and 6 - Joe Torre, and when they are retired, their numbers will be retired as well.
Come on, man, this is not a question if you know the answer(s). You need to find a quiz site. Anyone can easily look this up on the Web.
Anyway, since I know this, I may as well go for it but, frankly, why post anything you know the answers to. What's the point?: Retired #'s: 1 Martin, 3 Ruth, 4 Gehrig, 5 DiMaggio, 7 Mantle, 8 Berra and Dickey, 9 Maris. Wearing "unretired" #'s: 2 Jeter, 6 Torre. As far as your extra question, see above.
