that model does not have a cable. a quick check to see if its the VSS of the speedo is when you drive and the speedo quits see if the cruise control still works. If it does the VSS is good and the speedo itself it bad if not replace the VSS vehicle speed sensor on the trans

This is perfectly natural, although not openly discussed all too often for fear of social reaction. Mothers are the first introduction a male has to the opposite sex, this often forms strong social bonds that can be confusing sometimes. Likely chances are you have been exposed to some over sexual displays growing up that forced you to view your mother as a sexual being. At some stage in the parent child relationship the child comes to view the parent as a sexual being just like themselves, which can manifest sometimes in a personal attraction instead of an attraction understanding (The knowledge that ones mother is a sexual being without any desires outside that knowledge). There are many aspects of a mother that are especially appealing to her child ranging from basic health care to the comfort provided from a simple hug, very simply put, there is nothing wrong to find your mother attractive. At a young age this will sound like the hardest thing to do right now, but try to remind your mom of your age when she walks around in a towel, or skimpy clothes; To get a dialogue going on this subject you would not even need to mention the attraction, she will likely understand if you just say it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Hmm, I've seen this before, and I have to caution you that it is quite often a sign that someone was messing around with the odometer. Possibly disconnecting the cluster to prevent miles from adding on, or attempting to roll back the odo.
Did you just get this vehicle? Have you removed the cluster and checked the wiring? Are the miles rolling right? They probably stop when the speedo is inop!!
Good luck..good chance the vehicle is TMU!

sounds like your speedometer cable is loose. Your local mechanic should be able to tighten it up.
