Noisy neighbors?

I've got new neighbors, they are out early in the morning sometimes 6 AM working on their yard. I can hear them yelling at each other my bedroom window is above their backyard. I've asked them to quiet down, sometimes not so politely. But they don't seem to understand or they just act like they don't understand English. Some legal recourse I can take or am I just stuck with them till one of us moves.

Some cities have noise curfews imposed after certain hours of the day. However the noise must be loud enough to be heard at the street. Normally though you can make an anonymous call to the police stating your complaint in a very mild tone and they will generally make it known to the noisy neighbor that there have been complaints from the neighbors in the area.
Although be warned they may retaliate. So be prepared to go the distance with your complaint. If not you just got to live with it.

Call the police and ask if there are any quality of life laws in effect, such as disturbing the peace or things to that effect to which they can come and quiet down the neighbors. Some municipalities don't have that ordinances and the police can't do anything. Speak with the municipal council and see what they can do, if anything.

If they are so damned inconsiderate that they do not realize that they are disturbing others, don't bother to speak with them... it can only get ugly and you don't need that sort of thing. Do it the legal way or use ear plugs. Your choice.

If you make loud noises then they might call the police and you're the one in trouble instead of them. Talk to the local law enforcement and tell them your delima and see what their advice is.
