Does anyone know if it is possible to seal a statue made of plaster and how to do it???

I have an old statue of an angel I would like to keep outside during the summer. Can it be painted or something to perserve it? Thanks!

There is a sealant sold in arts and crafts stores that will do the job or Lowe's possibly may have it in your area.

go to a plant nursery and ask for some sealant which is used for sealing ceramic pots .this will make your angel waterproof.
