Is she teething? Our 9 month old daughter doesn't eat or drink as much when she has teethin pain. Try a little orajel and/or tylenol before you try to feed her. It might help.

If this doesn't work, I would call her pediatrician as soon as possible.

Good luck.

Talk to your pediatrician. People will tell you that she will eat when she's hungry, and that is generally true, but not always. My daughter had to be put on a feeding tube because she would not eat enough and was not gaining weight. Keep an eye on her weight. The doctors should be charting her weight on a growth chart. She should stay on the same curve but if she starts dropping off the curve then you need to be concerned. Is she just picky, or does she really refuse to eat? And is her weight healthy and does she seem active? She may just be going thru a finicky stage, but if not you need to take care of the problem now. And don't feel bad about yourself. You cannot make her eat and it has nothing to do with your parenting skills. My daughter is now a teenager and she's slender, but very healthy. Good luck.

She is probably teething. My doc told me that when they are teething they lose interest in eating because it hurts their mouths. But that one post was right, if she isn't taking ANY formula all day ( I think they recommend atleast 21-36 oz for 9 months) then you should get a doc appointment ASAP. Try giving her cold water in a sippy cup or out of a regular cup, something she won't have to suck on. The suction makes their teeth hurt. Good Luck!

Sound like teething to me. attempt have him drink out of a sippy cup or different cup. If that's teething the a number of teething gels worked wonders for us. There are organic and organic/homeopathic varieties too once you're into that. in case you do not imagine he receives adequate liquid water down his cereal. We had to hotel to spoon feeding my daughter formula for an afternoon or 2... no relaxing, yet needed. once you're nevertheless in touch about his fussing call the nurse at your sons pediatrician he/she will be in a position to probable be in a position to calm your nerves. once you're wound up and nervous he will %. up on it and the fussing in simple terms even worse. the peace of mind from a professional (no longer that us moms would not understand :-) ) might want to help your pressure and make the subsequent few days a touch a lot less complicated. good luck :-)

I would let her go until she eats. If it takes more than 24 hours then I would contact the doctor. My kids would do this every now and again. I also tried regular milk in a sippy cup at this age when my son did this and it worked. So he started grown up food and never had the problem again.
