I am a compulsive gambler, but I would think allowing any type of legal gambling in or around the Cleveland area would cause more trouble for the area than there already is.

I think that more gangs would appear, more violence would erupt, there would be more drinking and then fights breaking out. Does Cleveland really want all that to go along with gambling as far as slot machines go?

When you talk about the lottery and gambling that way. People generally play lottery tickets, they take the tickets with them and scratch as they go, or play games like the 3 and 4 digit games where they have to wait until a certain time for those numbers to be called. They aren't standing in one place for hours on end, waiting for their numbers to come up or for a machine to "hit a jackpot".

I live 30 miles east of Cleveland. I know a lot of people who like to gamble, they go to other places to do it .So why not keep them and their money in our state. Pulse It would be good for local business hotels , store, attractions, and the general economics for our city. It would help provide work for those who are not working . I don' t see what the big deal is ,almost every church has bingo and casino nights as it is, there are other ways to gamble like football pools, revers raffles, even the lottery and the instant tickets. So why not ?I think the positive would out weight to bad !!

I love the idea of unrestricted funds for college tuition for ALL students, but of course, worry about the other vices that could enter the picture, such as addiction, prostitution, and other violent crime. I say, the good outweighs the bad, because every person needs to be responsible for his or her own actions.

i think so, why should people have to go to another state to give their money to, why not keep it here?
