I have tried to find others who smell roses, and there are several, but none I can contact.?

Question

I am 51, and since I was 19, I smell roses within 2 or 3 weeks before someone I "know" dies.  It first happended when my best male friend was murdered.  (I'm female).  The second time I can remember was when my father died from a stroke at the age of 41.  The third time was when my 29 year old brother in law died of a not known congenital heart defect.  And then again when a business associate and his wife were killed in a plane crash.  They were neither close to me, nor important to me in anyway I can recall.
It seems to me, or I accept it, as a warning.  A warning to brace myself, knowing death of someone I know/love is in the near future.  And, it doesn't matter where the scent hits me in correlation to who it might be.

Any info, links, etc., to help me figure this one out, is welcomed.  I am a Christian.

roses are a very common fragrance given by spirit
it isn't any wonder you smell them before a death
i feel it is possibly other spirit remaining close at that time to help that person " home "
i work with spirit and do smell different things from each
but it is said that higher spirit have this floral smell ... more so roses
that would be guides and guardians
now this does not fit with Christian belief though as they believe that the dead are dead ... 
but i am sure you have a feeling this is not so

I know what you are talking about, my husband experienced the same thing, and when I was first around him I started to experience it. His mom also experienced it when her mother died. I started to check on this experience years ago, I also am a Christian. I used to think it was a sign of God or the dead. However now that I got in a closer relationship with God, I think they are tricks of satan trying to manipulate us. We know the dead cannot contact us, but the demons will come desquised as angels of light, to try and make us believe things we should not. When I was born again, I realized these tricks and cast out satan and we have never smelled them again. I do not think God or his angels would try to come to us in the form of a scent, he comes to us through our hearts and soul and you can feel that and be 100% sure it is him! What does being a christian have to do with anything? I have a similiar gift, and I find it comforting.  It's like I am told ahead of time that this person is taking the next step and not to be afraid..
