Chronic nausea, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, anxiety. What is the cause?

doctors cannot identify the source of my "mysterious illness" and it is getting worse. I have had unexplainable stomach problems for 8 years now. My symptoms get worse if I eat fatty foods, and the nausea is especially intense if I drink very cold water (but not intense with other cold beverages.) What could this be? Can anyone offer me suggestions to talk to my doctor about? I'm not asking for amature medical advice, just things to look into. All of these symptoms began after I was kidnapped and fed very poor quality food for three years. Could a poor diet have lingering effects for five years after my diet became more ballanced?

I am always experiencing symptoms to some degree, but they vary in intensity and durration. Sometimes eating will reduce severity, but not all the time.

I have been tested for ulcers and they came back negative. I know I have anxiety problems, and I was recently diagnosed with PTSD for the kidnapping incident. I am hesitant to assume that the stomach problems are related to the PTSD, as my symptoms don't get worse when I think about being kidnapped. The anxiety problems I have are having panic attacks when I am in grocery stores, large stores, crowds; or small rooms with brick walls and concrete floors. The stomach-related anxiety doesn't seem to be related to the "normal" anxiety.

I don't think it's mold, as I've lived in 11 places over the course of the 8 years I've been experiencing the symptoms, (in three completely differant climates,) with the same effect everywhere. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

There are various causes of nausea and dizziness. The first being Migraine, they are not always headaches (can be sickness, pain, weakness of limbs, difficulty in concentration etc.).
The second being anxiety attack, but this is unlikely if you do not suffer from hyperventilation (uncontrollable fast breathing) which could make you very light headed or sick in extreme cases.
The third being Vertigo, the symptoms allow for it, but commonly the dizziness involves the world spinning round as such.

It sounds like symptoms of severe anxiety, possibly. Anxiety and stress can do awful things to you physically. My wife has bouts of illness that come out of nowhere. The symptoms include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach hurts, sweats with freezing cold and the Drs have run every test they know to do from brain scans to stomach tests. While she does have ulcers, they have come to decide that stress and overdoing it physically brings on this illness. She has other medical problems too, like fibromyalgia and chronic pain /fatigue. Just something you may want to look into. Have you been through any kind of counseling?
You've been through an awful lot and I would imagine it could have severe consequences to your health.I wish you the best and hope you find some answers and will feel better soon.

It sounds like anxiety to me. It is AMAZING the power the mind has over the body. Virtually ANY physical symptom can be replicated by the human brain. This is probably a biochemical imbalance and can be treated effectively through behavior management and medication. You should talk to a professional and look at the facts to understand what is happening. You have been "sick" for eight years stemming from a traumatic event. Your symptoms come and go and are strange and unrelated, with the anxiety tying them all together. BTW a poor diet for a few years would not lead to your current symptoms.
