Can a car loand co-signer be switched?

My daughter is recently divorced and her ex-husband is still a co-signer on her car and I want to take over for him...can this be done? If so, how?

Yes, you'll just have to refinance the car, shouldn't be that big of a deal.

You will need to call the financial institution where the car is financed.Once they establish that you will stand good for the loan then they will put you as a cosigner and take him off the loan
