When I was single I used to go back and forth. I prefer funny guys, but if a funny guy hurt me the next guy I'd go with would be serious because that felt safer. After a while the serious guy would bore me and I'd fall for a funny guy again.
Finally found a funny guy that didn't hurt me - married him.

Fooling around - that means cheating? What's attractive about that? I wouldn't waste my time with someone like that no matter what qualities he has. But, if he's not a cheater, good sense of humor.
