IQ measures peoples intellegence with the average being 100 and a normal distribution, thus half of people should have an IQ below 100 and half above. In fact 96% of people have IQ scores 70-130. There is tecnically no lower or upper limit, genius IQs start in 140s or higher. Mental retardation has been assumed if IQ is below 70.

I'm sure you know that you cannot put together 2 people, with say IQ 115 and 120 and say the 120 is smarter than the 115, there are way too many factors that skew results, the test is one-dimensional, etc....Show more
