Why do Christians say we are in the Last Days and yet deny that the Great Tribulation is not yet?

How can that happen that we live in the "so-called Last Days"...where there are false Christs and false prophets...and then say that the Great Tribulation has not yet begun?

Is that telling fear or denial?

29"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken,

30and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and with great glory.

31And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

One can not fully understand Biblical Prophecy by only reading isolated scriptures. It's important that Believers read God's Word from cover to cover....Old and New Testaments in their entirety.
All books of the Bible work together to provide complete understanding of future events.

As an example, one would not be familiar with "all" end of time events, if they have not read scripture from three of the four gospels. The knowledge of the Tribulation is no different.

We know the Tribulation has not arrived, because God's Word tells us that certain prophecies must occur BEFORE this happens. Yes False Prophets are one of the signs, but there are more prophecies which have yet to take place.

When the Tribulation has arrived, there will be no doubt, because Christians will experience persecution and even death at a level that has never been seen before. When the Tribulation is here, we will not sit back comfortably on our computers wondering if now is the time, or in churches debating whether or not it's here. We will KNOW because it's presence will be undeniable.

It's not denial...it's trust of God's Word, and meditation on scripture which allows Believers to know the Tribulation has not yet arrived. Many Christians are looking forward to Christs return...we all are. However, I don't think many fully realize what must take place before Christ's return. Many of us will die because of our faith!!

I think a better question would be, since we are certain we're living in the Last Days, why do so many Christians spend more time debating their "religious" interpretations, rather than strengthening, loving, and encouraging each other daily?

Two of Satan's greatest tools used among "Christians" are Division and Spiritual Ignorance. Sadly, many do not recognize when they are being used to put these tools into action.

When the Tribulation arrives, persecuters of Believers will not care what denomination you are, nor will they take the time to ask how your religion differs from the next. They will only care that you are Christian and Believe in Jesus. :)

Christians who don’t believe we’re in the great tribulation spoken of by Jesus are for the most part dispensationalists who believe the doctrine that the secret rapture, the gathering together to meet the Lord in the air prophesied in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, will precede the seven year tribulation period and be followed by the second coming which will be followed by the millennial reign. Since the rapture hasn’t happened yet the seven year tribulation period hasn’t begun according to dispensationalists. The doctrine of the seven year tribulation period, and the timing of the gathering together, and the second coming are built around the belief, mistakenly, that the “he” in Daniel 9:27 is the antichrist, when it is actually Jesus Christ who the angel is talking about.

Daniel 9: 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

No it isn't in Matthew24:4 the latter part of verse 4talks about the things that are happening and it says there but the end is not yet, these things are just the beginning of pangs of distress. there is much more to come, one thing is the next thing is for Falcse religion will be destroyed, when you see this happening that will truly be a tribulation, I hope that helps

The last days are when the prophecies have been fulfilled & God has decided enough is enough !! Have a gooood look around you & then compare what is happening now to the dying days of other civilisations. God will determine when the tribulation will begin...not man ! If you think this is it u're in for a big shock !This is nothing ..read Revelation

The last days are before Christ raptures the church. The tribulation comes after the rapture. Read the Bible.
