What are some good places to visit in Nantucket?

I heard that they might have a museum.

Hi !
I lived 6 months on Nantucket and I'm a bit surprized by the answers above.
Nantucket is a fantastic spot, so pristine, clean,...

There are several museums. The best one deals with the whale fishing and it's interesting.

But I'd recomment to hang out in Nantucket village, go to 'Sconset, and some secluded beaches.

Have fun !

i have never being to the museum there but I went to Nantucket last summer for a day, and honestly it is such a small island and everything is within walking distance that it will be hard to miss anything good.

Just go during a nice summer day and you can go in and out of all the toursit attractions, shops and restuarants. Nantucket is really a cool place.

I have been to Nantucket many times and there really isn't much to do there when compared to Martha's Vineyard. Typically, it is a small-town setting populated with many beaches, residential areas, and small independent businesses. Amazingly, they have a nice state-of-the-art airport, especially for the island's size. Not much than just beaches, small shops, and historical spots that there are for tourists. Although, do make the most of it and have fun.
