It depends on the Manufacturer of the camera. Most have a USB cable supplied with them and all you have to do is plug it into an available port on your computer. Wait for the device to be detected and installed by Windows. If it installs correctly with no user intervention, you should be able to browse to it in Explorer and move the pictures around that way. If the camera is looking for a device driver dig out the CD that came with the camera or visit the camera makers website and download and run the software for the camera. After that you may have to access it from the camera's software. Good luck

Most Digital cameras connect for download via the USB port. They often require software, that may not work. A simple and faster solution is to get a card reader. It hooks up the same way, via the USB port, but often needs no software and is faster, Just click on My Computer and look for a "Removable Drive". This is especially useful if you have more than one camera in the house.

You will need a USB connector cord that comes with the digital camera or use a memory card adaptop. Plug it in the USB port in your computer and go to My Computer, click on the removable disk and you see the files there. Right click on the file you want to transfer to your computer and choose copy, the you can paste it in the folder you desire. I hope this helps you ^^ good luck!
