Does anyone think that Dreamwork's Animated Classic "Prince of Egypt" would make a great Broadway Musical?

I saw the movie again, recently the first time in years and i've been imagining seeing the film translated on stage. I would definitely pay to see that!!

Ignore those who don't appreciate all kinds of art.

Anyway, oh yes it would be a great for a broadway musical. The storyline is doable on stage and the movie itself is filled with musical emotion.

With proper directing and composition, it'll be your best musical performed~ ;)

Actually, it's already been tried. Val Kilmer played Moses in the live version, done at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles in 2004, and both he and it were savaged I wouldn't expect to see it again soon, if at all.

Sometimes it's best to leave mediocre material alone.

It is full of music and would have some great acting involved. If it is done correctly, it would be a masterpiece.

Just remember, this story is based on religious beliefs, so you would need to be careful.

It would also be difficult because it requires so many people and so many sets.
