Why are there different color bow ties on different year chevy? Does it mean or signify something?
For example, my '03 Impala has a blue bow tie, and the '07 Impala has a gold bow tie.

Doesn't mean anything really, just what happens to look best or what the designers thought looked best. Our 72 Chevy Blazer has a blue one, and our 81 Chevy pickup has a gold one.

There is no rhyme or reason to the color schemes of the bow tie insignia. My friend and I have black 99 Monte Carlos, one had a black bow and the other a red--same model LS with identical features. It's just a matter of the manufacturers placing the insignias as they see fit.

i own a shop, and really it doesn't mean much at all its just different colors they used ,instead of staying with the same color all the time, its Chevy, that's all that counts, good luck.
