Does the Maury Show tell those paternity seekers about their possibilities of getting Hiv/aids?
The women and men have multiple partners and apparently have unprotected sex. They need to learn better. These behaviors lead to more disease and more heartache, especially for those poor little kids who are raised in those situations.

Somehow I doubt it... although in many shows, they end up sending the parent(s)/children to counseling, so perhaps it is brought up there.
Bottom line is that I doubt lack of education is the issue. People will do what they want, many times ignoring the possible consequences.
After all.... men and women know that unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy as well as STDs. You'd think that would be motivation enough -- pregnancy, that is.
It is my opinion that many people just spend too much of their lives making stupid decisions (like unprotected sex) and spend the rest of their lives regretting it.
Of course not. Maury and his wife (Connie Chung) are not in the business of being "good" people. They are in the business of exploitation. You notice his wife is no longer doing the news and you have to be worse than the worst to get kicked out of that liberal untruthful field of work. The poor people on this show are exploited for 15 minutes of fame and payment at scale for their "public embarrassment" on the "show". After they have tested the 15th guy and still can't find the babee daddiee anyway, who really cares if they ever find out.
That show is very sad. I hope these mothers and fathers understand about STD's, but they probably don't care. It's the kids I feel sorry for, when mommy has to have 10 paternity tests done because she doesn't know who the father is. So sad.
Wow, that's a good point... but I don't think they do.
Every ob/gyn that I know tests a pregnant woman for HIV. They really need to know that answer to care for the child and mother as well as possible and clearly, if you got pregnant, you were exposed enough to get HIV.
However, if a man wanted to bring a woman on to say "I think your baby is mine AND I'm HIV positive" I'm sure that he'd totally go for it!
