I once went to Turkey in May...
For me it's the best period of the year because then the people aren't tired of all those tourists and it isn't to hot.

Imran what da heck r ya talkin'bout? Is this a joke somethin'? Havent you seen any tourists before or like the other friends of mine asked, are you going there to see some tourists?
Or, is there an exact time for your country to see the tourists ? LMAO, never seen that funny question before, haha anyways, You can see tourists anytime u want in Turkey, but ethe question is WHY?

The season starts in April and ends in October. There will be a lot of visitors over Easter (8th April 2007) and the height of the tourist season is July and August when it is VERY hot.
May is a good time to visit. Have a great holiday!

Most tourists come to Turkey in the warmer season, but mostly in July and August.

If you are going for a beach holiday to a mediterranean coast location, May can still be perfect, as most people go to holidays between mid-June until September. The places would not be crowded, recently renovated, but maybe a little expensive :)
For visiting cities for museums, palaces etc April or October would be better as they would be slightly cooler.
