The ITA is awesome. I joined about 4 months ago. The instructor has been training for 20 yrs and very knowledged in TKD. He is a 5 degree black belt. He trained under Craig Kollars which is the grand master. Mr Kollars is 8 degree Black Belt. Alot of people are against ITA because it is fairly new but that is just because they don't like change. But I say that is stupid because if things never changed amagine where the world would be today. Example : look at the Automobile industry. Could you imagine driving a 1929 car to work everyday. I don't think so. Things has changed for the better. This also applies for ITA. Not to mention ITA is for self defense not competition like most tkd schools.

I like it. I recently joined last month. Some consider it a McDojo.....but when there is nothing else around, some people have no choice. Just make sure to check out the place and feel out the instructors. I joined TKD for both the sport aspect and the self defense aspect. Hope you enjoy it.

I don't know much about it except talking to a girl (~10 I guess) who told me that she was in it 2 years & was a 2nd degree black belt. That's more than enough for me to recommend against it.

I think the ITA is another attempt at being a WTF.... they are a spin off of the bigger organizations and I don't give them much credit. Taekwondo already has enough image problems.... it doesn't need anymore rogue affiliations to break from the two main ones...WTF and ITF.

It is just another one of those things that is trying to get some money by trying to become another World TKD Federation. Go with a studio in the WTF.
