Does anybody really know how much he is watched on HBO??He really is not funny it will be interesting when a Democrat takes office and see where the show goes!! It would be interesting to see 3 opponents and Bill and see where the fireworks actually go not everyone agreeing or everyone bashing the one poor sole on the other end.

A good show will survive regardless of who is in office. Rush Limbaugh has proven this. The provocative stuff plays well.
He's often brilliant and hilarious. As far as the "fair fight" thing, yeah right, like Bill Orally or Rush actually have balanced debates and give equal time to liberals. O'Reilly has that cute polite blond liberal woman up against the hysterical Malkin with him moderating and that is supposed to be "balanced"? Laughable.
BTW, Maher had a show called "Politically Incorrect" that ran from 1993-2002 all through the Clinton Administration, and while he is definitely liberal, you are totally wrong if you think he didn't make fun of Bubba at times.
I love the fact that liberals actually think his specious arguments and outrageous canards demonstrate how enlighten and intelligent he is.
When in actuality his comments only prove how vacuous and intellectually challenged he really is.
For the life of me, I have no idea why HBO even hired a humorless comedian whose only real claim to fame is a late night talk show that failed for lack of ratings.
