Sound waves as propulsion in outer space?
I saw on Discovery TV that NASA has put a new kind of engine on some deep space rockets with light and electricity as a propulsion and I think that a sound wave would work better in fact a low frequency in a light beam would do it very strong.?????
All of you have proved my reasoning of my thought on this IE: The light wave is a mediam and also 123 you said the sound wave would it's self be like a space ship itself so then why wonced produced and pushed out to become nothing in the vast open space doesn't it make sence that both would gain movement from each other and another thing people I am one who does not believe that space is a true vacuume. Am BLACK HOLE is a true vacuume
My reasoning from the start was that one needs to produce something to push off from and that something has to be disposable like a wave of some kind and although afterwords the wave would become none existant it still would exist the moment it was produced and there fore could be used at that split second as something in space ie: Propulsion
