First of all, to the answer above mine... The UFC owns Pride FC, they bought them out, so it's not a matter of talent, they own it all.
Secondly, Dana White showed that hour and a half to explain why the fight didn't take place. There were many fans wanting to see it, and if they didn't show that episode people would be wondering what happened.
Tito would've probably lied about why the fight never took place and it would've been bad for business.
Instead Dana White showed how much of a chump and just how selfish Tito Ortiz really is.

WWE is a business, UFC is a business. Did you notice how many commercial breaks there were during that 1.5 hrs? On the other hand, every UFC fan knew that the fight was supposed to happen. Dana White just protected his own reputation so that Tito couldn't shoot his mouth off saying that Dana didn't want to fight him. It's not like Tito hasn't bad mouthed Dana in the press before.

Oh My GOD! Dude can anyone else say WWE vs UFC!Wait a minute would that be cool or will that be the biggiest mistake Vince McMahon ever makes(other than of course buying WCW & ECW,which by the way McMahon & the rest of the WWE regrets).

The Wrestling Entertainment Biz is grossing Billions !!!!

White would be a fool not to use a similar outline. The fights are real, that's the only difference. The hype sells seats, and ppv orders.

Personally, I would like to see it more as a sport with less drama, but hey, gotta pay the bills and it's a successful business plan.
