What is the worst medication you were prescribed?

What medication caused you bad side effects and possible made you land up in the ER? Did the medication cause damage (whether physically or mentally) to the point that it is not reversible? Mine was Topamax.

Hey Dave S. I had the exact same problem with Topamax especially when it came #2. It didn't matter what I ate. I would still be in agony. Even though I am no longer on it, the damage is done just it's not a severe. I currently now take meds for IBS.

I was on tompax a few times. I was taking it for migraines and it helped but also made my OCD worse. I loved it for that~ but it mde me go back to my ENDOS and I became super skinny! Like icky looking and unhealthy looking. I didnt have any lond term damage but my pins and needles feelings didnt go away for a couple days after i went off it. I had so many tests and things done bc I wasnt sure what was causeing me to get such bad charlie horses and tingling in the libms. Meanwhile it was all bc of the tompax~

So far I'm allergic to morphine, bactrim, codeine, tramadol, and any sulfa drugs. Just recently I had a reaction to a migraine medication that I cannot remember the name of. I know all about this. I hope you are feeling better!

I also have to take10mg of coumadin/warfarin daily for a DVT that I have. The medication has gradually made me lose my memory, eyesight, and hearing over the past 6 years. The worst part of it is that I have to take it the rest of my life. :(

I hope you're feeling better by now. If not, you could always see a gastrointerologist. Good luck!

i think once you're on meds, you should target to get off them if in any respect plausible. of route you won't be able to if it truly is for something like type a million Diabetes or something alongside those lines there is a few human beings i comprehend that are taking blood rigidity pills and they are in basic terms twenty one and that i detect that really pathetic. in the experience that they in basic terms lived a 1/2 respectable existence type they could turn it round.

1. Ambien

2. Xanax

3. Oxycodone

Triple tie. Ambien is now well-known for causing sleep walking. Xanax was such a downer. Oxycodone twisted my ankle. Fell asleep on it, phone rang, tried to stand up and fell on it.

All of those - you might as well give your patient some crack and a shot of heroin. Bad bad stuff.
