I was wondering if anyone caught that episode of Planet Earth that was talking about the largest rivers in the world. I really enjoyed the section on Lake Malawi. That was pretty cool. They mentioned Lake Tanganyika but they didn't show it. They should have shown something like a school of cyphotilapia ftontosa all full grown. That would have been a a beautiful spectacle. Tell me what you guys thought about the epi please.

The Fresh Water episode. It was great to see the Lake Malawi cichlids. It is great to see all these colorful fish you recognize in its natural enviroment. I wanted to see more of the lake and river cichlids. I felt that part was too short and they didn't show how beautiful the fish species is. Missed out on a lot of colorful schools of fish. I am actually a little disappointed in the series, from the build up they gave it. And after listening to Sigourney Weaver, I think I just miss having the classic narrators like James Earl Jones ... or someone similar.
I do want to see it in HD in the future, but I still want more of the colorful fish!

Frontosa's are extremely deep water fish - many divers died trying to bring them up so videos in their natural habitat will need to be done via remote. The most interesting lake in the world is Lake Nicaragua check it out sometime.
