The burners all work but the oven does not. There is power to the knob that you use to turn the oven on and adjust the temp ( my husband found out when he tried to take it apart and got zapped) I don't think the gas is even flowing to the oven when you "turn it on" you can't smell any. The breaker is on. It's a Whirpool drop on stove that is only a year old. My husband has looked for a pilot light and can't find one. Any help would be great.

Hi I agree with Grannygr you probably have a Glow bar type oven ignition system. The gas will not flow if this is the type you have and itsburnt out. You can order the part on the manufacturers web site and can get directions from them too. Good luck. Patrick
My oven and stove are over 10 yrs old. It is however an electronic ignition. sometimes the ignitors go bad and need to be replaced ( mind did just last year) Did the oven work before? The ovens also have thermostats and they go bad as well. It's much cheaper to have it repaired than to buy a new stove. Mine was like $75.00. Good Luck!
Although I'm sure you don't want to hear this, my advice is to just call a repairman and let him look at it. Gas is so dangerous to mess with. I'll try to work on anything myself around the house, but gas & electric are the ones I leave to the pros. I'm too paranoid. Good luck!
there's a leak, get it checked, its not mandatory you scent all of it the time in case you turn the nob the leak launch is quicker, so u only scent at different circumstances. there'll be a level the position u get used to the scent u wont recognize its leaking. So please dont delay get it checked professionaly!.
