I work as a nurse and am burnt out. I need suggestions for a career change. I'm too old to want to go into debt for student loans. I'm great with paperwork. Tired of crabby people, job politics and and shift work. Any suggestions?

Try getting a job at the post office !!! At least there you can have an excuse to go postal !!!!
Okay,so you know your strengths... and you know what you DON'T want. Start asking EVERYBODY for suggestions. You didn't mention if money was a priority, just that you don't want student loans.
If living wages is not a huge issue, I suggest working someplace where a discount can help. Like if you love gardening, or need to do some home improvements... try one ot the big Do-It-Youself Hardware Giants. They don't pay big money but you could get a decent discount.
Or... pursue the same career in a different area. Like if you're a nurse in a hospital... move to a physician's office. I also know a friend in Human Resource and she hires Administrative level for Nursing Homes.
I'm serious about talking to people. Don't approach the subject as a complaint. Just ask everybody. And DON'T give immediate reasons why that "won't" work. Just shut up and listen and maybe... you'll catch a spark of an idea!
this is all suitable to the variety you notice your activity responsibilities under paintings journey. distinctive jobs which you persist with for would desire to have taylored resumes to tournament the talents required. For the library difficulty rather push your workstation (documents systems) skills to boot as your shopper help skills. skill to barter billing conflicts, manage irate purchasers and proper telephone etiquette. additionally push the group chief difficulty and expertise to get alongside with co-workers.
