No other country pays their leader in US Dollars. Not do they have them live in this country. so what possible point is there in comparing the two? P.S. I'm in the military, I live in a crappy little house which I'll have to sell before I build any real equity. But I still make alot more than a soldier of the same rank in other countries. Does that mean I'm overpaid?

Traditionally, the president is the highest-paid government employee, though not in terms of traditional salary. His/her annual earnings total $150,000, though the president is given a $300,000 expense account. Consequently, the president's salary and total expense account serve as a traditional cap for all other federal officials, such as the Chief Justice

Dont you know how to research on the internet? I am sure some prezs in other countries earn more or less depending on which country you are talking about

$400,000 per year is the President's salary. BUT- I've heard that right now Bush makes much more through stocks, I've heard as much as 20 MILLION in investments, including investing in oil companies.

The President of the United States makes $400,000
per year, I have no idea how this compares to other
world leaders.
