36aa bra size questions?

Hi, I was wondering. I've been told that a 36A bra has the same cup size as a 32C. I have an AA cup size but I have a wide back so I would wear 36 by the band size and AA by the cup size. Does a 36AA bra have the same cup size as a 32A because if so, I'd never come close to filling the cup.

I don't know about comparison cup sizes, sorry. But if you just need a wider band, try getting a band extender. They sell them at Walmart and some craft stores with the other sewing supplies. That way you don't have to worry about it.

When you decrease a band size you increase a cup size, so a 36AA has the same exact cup size as that of a 32B and a 36A is the same exact cup size as a 32C, but a 32 would be quite narrow on you if you have a 36" torso. And the C cup of a 32 would be too big on you if you're a 36AA.

A 32A cup is very small in the cups, they would be the equivolant of a 34AA or a 36AAA. So you would not fit into that either. Unless you're not filling out the bras you're wearing now...in this case you may want to try the in-between sizes some brands have to offer.

If your underbust measures 31 or 32" then you are a 36, and if you say you're a AA cup then your bust would also measure 36". If it measure 37 then you're an A cup. Go to someone who specializes in bras, fitting and making them and have them measure you to get your correct size if the one you have now is ill-fitting. Don't decrease your band size if you don't need to just to have a larger cup size.

If you're having trouble finding them, these http://www.barenecessities.com/catalog.asp?size=960&style=&vendor=&nxs=31 are 3 styles on this website in a 36AA.

And on Ebay, http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=36aa&category0=

And google, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=36aa

Also this website has a lot of smaller cup bras, http://www.aalingerie.com/wfSearchResult.aspx?advCKey=cKey_AdvSearch_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_Bra_36AA

34B is going to be too big in the cups on you and probably a tad too snug in the band.

No, a 32A will not fit you if you usually wear a 36AA. You could try a 34A/B though.
