Why does my AIM crash when certain people on my buddylist sign on/off or IM me?

Whenever certain individuals on my buddylist sign on, sign off, or IM me my AIM totally crashes. The buddylist window completely dissappears off of my desktop and the taskbar icon remains until I roll my mouse pointer over it, then it dissappears. I am running the newest version of AIM on Windows Vista, does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks

I had a friend with a similar problem, and it turned out to be his account. He created a new account and the problem went away!

Export your buddy list, and then create a new account and import your list to your new account. Hopefully that will work for you.
