I think Harry and Ginny will get back together at the end of DH, they gotta! They're so sweet. Which obviously leaves Ron and Hermione as a couple. They also make a great match.
R.A.B: I think that R.A.B. is Sirius' late brother, Regulus Black. He was once a Death Eater, a supporter of Voldemort, but was killed shortly after joining because he wanted out. I think that before his death, he stole the real locket Horcrux, tried to destroy it, but ended up at his childhood home, Number 12, Grimmauld Place. There is evidence of this in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. On page 116 of the American Edition, "a heavy locket that none of them could open" is mentioned. Now that Harry owns Grimmauld Place, I believe that he will discover it the next time he goes there. Here is what J.K. Rowling had to say about R.A.B. in an interview with Melissa Anelli and Emerson Spartz:
MA: R.A.B.
JKR: Ohhh, good.
[All laugh.]
JKR: No, I'm glad! Yes?
MA: Can we figure out who he is, from what we know so far?
[Note: JKR has adopted slightly evil look here]
JKR: Do you have a theory?
MA: We've come up with Regulus Black.
JKR: Have you now?
MA: Uh-oh.
[Laughter.]
JKR: Well, I think that would be, um, a fine guess.
Remus Lupin: He's going to get engaged to Tonks... it's about time he's been given some love.
Snape Good or Evil: I have no idea! There is so much evidence on both sides of the equation. I have a tendency to think he's good, but I go back and forth.
Draco-- Will he be redeemed?: I think that Draco will become a tragety. I think that Lucius will live, but his punishment will be that he witnessess his only son's death. He'll realize all of the horrible things he's done, and will live to a horrible, old age with the memory of his beloved dying son.
The BIG Question-- Will Harry defeat Voldemort?: I think that it is almost definite. He has to. The Harry Potter books are part of a certain genre, and that's what the rules are. Good overturns evil. How Harry will do this, I have no idea. None of us do. My best guess is that it will have to do with Harry's power of love. I'm not even convinced that Harry will physically kill Voldemort. Dumbledore never taught him many defensive spells or told him that the only way to get rid of Voldemort was to use the Avada Kedavra. For one, we know that they cannot duel with each other, as we found that out in book four. I have a feeling that JKR will surprise us with such an amazing ending. Like she's said, no one has ever guessed the ending to the Potter books exactly.
Will Harry Live?: Hmm... I'd like to say that he does. On the other hand, it is completely possible that JKR will kill him off in his battle against Voldemort. We just don't know :-(
Here is a list of people besides Harry that I think might perish.
Ron: Besides being Harry's best mate, we haven't really seen him prove himself in times of danger and battle. He showed his strengths back in Book 1 when during the giant chess match during the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone. There is a theory that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry in the final match against Voldemort.
Pettigrew: Do I have to explain it? Let's see... He betrayed the Potters, he helped Voldemort get his body back, and is an all-around bad guy. I think it's time to go, and that the life-debt that he has to Harry will be involved somehow.
Draco: I think that apart from being "bad", Draco is really a tragic character. His family are Death Eaters. He's got a lot to live up to. I got the kind of feeling that he was forced in the Book 6 to serve Voldemort. All the stress he underwent, the frustration, the anxiety... I mean, the poor boy was misguided. Remember that he is only about 17. People can make horrible mistakes when they are at that age. Unfortunately in Draco's case, it might cost him his life. He's in too deep.
Professor Trelawney: I think there is a possibility of her death in Book 7. She's always predicting how people will die, and seeing strange, dark omens everywhere. I think that is a kind of subtle foreshadowing. She sees death everywhere, why can't it be hers? I just wonder how this would play out, and how important it would be to the actual plot.
Percy: Hmm... Anyone sure which side he is really on? I don't think he's become a DE, but I don't know if he'll get the chance to reconcile with his family.
Mrs. Weasley: Her biggest fear is people close to her dying-- her Boggart is her dead family members. Just the fact that she sees death everywhere makes her a strong candidate.
Also... I have a theory that Harry's actually related to the inventor of the Golden Snitch in Quidditch. Bowman Wright, the inventor, lived in Godric's Hollow, were Harry and his parents lived. If they were related, it would explain how Harry's family got their wealth and Harry's innate ability as Seeker.
will harry die? = Well, I am a great supporter of the Harry Lives theory. He's the hero, and quite frankly I hate stories where the hero dies.
will ron and hermione get together? = We know this for a fact. Jo has more or less revealed that ages ago.
will ginny and harry get together again? = Yes, I don't believe Ginny will lie low and let Harry go off into almost certain death. So I believe they will get together eventually.
will voldermort win? = Hmm, thereby hangs a question. If Harry lives, than Voldemort has to die simple as that. I would actually like to see a different alternative to the idea of vanquishing the enemy rather than death.
As for what else could happen to various characters:
Ron: I believe that PS/SS chess scene was a foreshadowing of his imminent death. I believe that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry. Before that though he will be engaged to Hermione thus making it more tragic. Besides, Ron is always joking about his death. When Ron jokes, it generally happens.
Hermione: Lives, she has to. She is the main Muggleborn in the story. She has to live to prove that Muggleborns are just as powerful, and have just as much right to be in the Wizard world.
Draco: Hmm, I don't want him to die because that would mean Snape's death. Unless ALL requirements of the vow was actually met at the end of HBP.
Severus Snape: I am so hoping that he is the character she has redeemed from death. There is so much he can do alive. He's also the most complex of all the characters.
Lucius Malfoy: I am rather controversial in the fact that I believe that he will be redeemed. I believe that no matter how bad or evil people are they can always change. I would love Lucius Malfoy to be the character to prove this. I have seen people change for the better before my very eyes myself.
Percy Weasley: Die, Percy, Die!!! Sorry, don't like this character.
Mr and Mrs Weasley: Molly, I think will die. Arthur, not quite sure with him.
Cho Chang: She'll become a Death Eater. I don't like or trust her.
Remus Lupin: He'll live. I am sure of it. Unfortunately.
R. A. B: Is Sirius, younger, better brother. I like the idea that he isn't dead and is on the Order of the Phoenixes side. I also think that he was very pally with Snape.
Ginny: She'll live, and give Harry the family he's always wanted.
There's so much more I could say but this answer is long enough as it is.
After Dumbledore's loss of life, Harry plans to smash the constituents of Voldemort's soul that are hidden within the 4 last Horcruxes: the locket, Hufflepuff's cup, the Diadem of Ravenclaw, and the snake, Nagini. When the Ministry falls to Voldemort, Harry, Ron, and Hermione move into hiding, apparating from position to position each few days. Together, they uncover 2 Horcruxes, and uncover the logo, and notice the which means, of the Deathly Hallows, 3 magical items that permit the posessor to grow to be the grasp of loss of life. Harry believes that that is methods to defeat Voldemort: Hallows as opposed to Horcruxes, however Ron and Hermione, who don't think the tale of the Hallows, persuade Harry to keep browsing for the Horcruxes. After discovering and destroying the remainder Horcruxes, Harry and Voldemort face off at Hogwarts Castle, and Harry triumphs. The epilogue of the booklet indicates how Harry marries Ginny, and Ron marries Hermione, and a short lived glimpse into their lives after the loss of life of Tom Riddle. There, quick and candy description, now not phrase for phrase, and it offers you the common concept of the tale with out overloading you on main points. Thous you continue to must learn the booklet, it is method bigger than any abriged description anybody can deliver you.
I really, really hope not...how harsh would that be? Though a lot of people think so and I might just ready for the worst in case.
I'd be so annoyed if they don't...JK has been building this up since GOF, it has to happen.
It depends if they have they time or are in a position to do so...though I don't see Ginny as the type to sit at home and wait for Harry to finish Voldemort. I think she may go along with him or at least will be involved in the fighting somehow. But, I don't think they will see anybody else...if they both make it through (I think/hope they will) they will get back together at the end.
No way! How bad would that be? He's going to die, even if Harry goes with him.
I agree with you on that, there is so much that I really can't make my mind up on because there are good arguments for either side and I can see why both of them might be right. Like whether Hogwarts will reopen, who will go with Harry (if he doesn't go to Hogwarts himself), and whether he is a Horcrux (I read a really convincing article on why he was the other day, before that I was certain he wasn't). I'm quite sure that Snape is good (or as good as he can be) but re-reading HBP last weekend I can't say that I'm 100%. Though, I am sure that RAB in Regulus Black.
