I currently wear gold jewelry, hip-hop style (watches, chains, rings).
I know in hip hop the trend is toward platinum. White people generally wear silver because it looks best on them, where as dark people wear gold because it looks best on them. But platinum is all the style now.
So should I wear platinum or gold?

gold does look better on darker skin, but that doesn't mean that platinum won't look good too.
it depends how style concious you are - do you religiously follow the trends?

Wear whatever you like that looks best on you. Personally. I think both would look good, But don't just go with the trend see what's looks best on you and with the clothes your wearing.
