Are there ever circumstances that justify e-mail snooping (not hacking) if you already have the password?

two people in love and in a a sexual relationship should not have any secrets between them loving someone is also accepting everything about that person.good or bad .therefore there should be no need to keep secrets.the two should be free to share everything with each other and not feel or be judged even if its something about their family or actions in the past.if you truelly love each other then you are friends too and you should be friends otherwise the whole relationship is a lie.

my opinion is that people in a serious relationship should be able to share emails, letters, passwords everything after all whatever someone might have to hide from their partner is usually something they have done during the relationship that would hurt their partners feelings.if there is nothing they are doing that betrays their bond then they should not care if the partner sees it

anyway if two people are having sex they are both intitled to knowing everything about their partner because that's their life they're entrusting into someones hands.unless of coarse the person doesnt value themselves and does not care what they catch.

if there are signs something is going on and the person seems to be very secretive its most likely that they are keeping something from you and you have every right to snoop. not knowing and making assumptions will drive you crazy.

start by trying to get them to open up first and try several times if they dont then you have every right to investigate.

you did not specify if the relaionship is of a sexual nature if this person is anything other than your significant other then you have no rights to snoop. none whatsoever. you are not part of their private life.even if you have their password.

If your significant other might be cheating on you, I think you are justified to e-mail snoop.

If my reputation is in jeopardy, then yes it is justified.

However, if you are just doing it invade other's privacy, then it is very wrong.
