McAfee and Avast label Alexa as spy-ware, ad-ware. What should I do?

I am not able to download Alexa, even after pausing Avast, or putting all relevant folders in the "exclusions list" or "areas which will not be scanned" but to no avail. I have a small site with a ranking of 1 million on alexa, and wanted to improve it. In India, alexa ain't that famous. Is there any software through which the rank can be boosted to say...400,000. Thanks

Alexa is NOT an accurate tool and relies only on those who downloaded the toolbar.

It can definitely be manipulated (though why bother?). You can buy the following software and increase your rankings
