Question for vegetarians and vegans.?

What kinds of questions do you get asked about diet and lifestyle? Some could be well-meant and others just annoying. How about the funniest question or the dumbest.

Most often I get asked, "Don't you miss eating ______ ?" - No.

Confusing: "Do you eat pizza?" - Yes. "What about pepperoni pizza?" - No. "Why not?" - ???

Dumbest: "Can't you just pick the meat out of it?"

I usually just try to be myself and hope no one notices that I don't eat meat.

I find I get some hostility which is so weird. I never tell anyone to become a veg, I know its a personal choice. I don't get it, I am just trying to be healthy and I feel bad for the animals. What is it that annoys the carnivores so much?

Quite often when I ask for the Veggie burger or the Harvest Burger.. I get asked are You sure? When I order something I'm sure of what I want! Some times a aske for fries without gravy and they say are You sure?

I always get the question, "Why?". I usually tell people that I became a vegetarian for health reasons because I don't want to argue about my moral point of view.

"What d'you mean he don't eat no meat? Oh, that's ok, I'll make lamb" -- My Big Fat Greek Wedding....

I have no issue with vegans/vegietarians as long as they don't try to cram their views down my throat....

To the girl above whos fiancee give's her grief-- think twice. If he can't handle your veggie lifestyle now, what ya gonna do when he wants to BBQ a steak?
