How can a judge in colorado get away without ordering child support or medical support for a child just because the father is disabled?? he is deaf but can read and write and has an internet business and is on social security disibilty.

If he is on Social Security disability his children also have a social security check because he is disabled to support them. I don't know the check they draw it may be SSI or something similar but they get a Government check also. My cousin was diagnosed with TB and was given 6 months to live , he had 2 little girls, they drew checks , when he died they still drawed checks until they become 18 years old . He also had a disabilty from the army, they also drew that check. The Mother was sorry and her parents took care of the 2 girls and they also got some type of checks. They are suppose to be taken care regardless.
Good question for the judge. If dad is on SSI there's a good chance that you can also get it for the child unless you have a large income, or live with someone that does.. Check it out. Dad probably also has insurance thru Welfare.
