My car acts erratically at freeway speeds whats wrong?
I have a '97 chevy Lumina and had the front end alingned. now when I make lane changes the car acts irraddict. it over accentuiates lane changes I'm too afraid to drive on freeways. Also my front tires were put on the back and do have outer edge wear could this be a problem also?

It sounds as if you need a front end alignment right now. If this was not happening before you need a second opinion on the work done. I would get to it soon.
Go back to alignment shop. Not done correctly. They are on the hook for sending out an unsafe vehicle. Toe is incorrect, and maybe camber/caster. All part of wheel alignment job. It is not a job you can do at home.
hello. your note indicates to me the tires are not seeming 'proper' to you. for me, I have that feeling when the tires are rotated front to back also (that's how tiires are rotated now). Freeway speeds, freeways are different from 'surface' streets. You move faster, much faster. L'il ol' you and the 3000 pound vehicle you're in command of.
You'd' better take it back to the shop where you had the alignment done, maybe they put to much weight on one wheel, that happened to me once with my Fire bird and It was like driving a bumper car. i could hardly control it at speeds. don't try to guess what wrong. take it back and tell them what's happening
