how bad is McHale going to botch the draft-pick tonight?

even though there are some fairly good players that make this draft deep enough to still get a good one with the 7th, this is Kevin McHale we're talking about. He always manages to screw it up.

Last year, he traded away the future Rookie of Year (Brandon R.O.Y.) for Randy Foye. Randy is a good young player, but is he really better than Roy, who they actually selected (but then traded).

What are some of the ways McHale will blow it?

By not trading Garnett to the Lakers.

Yi is still on the table at No. 7, and he takes him, and then we finally figure out that the reason he was doing solo workouts faking out folding chairs is that folding chairs are really the only things he can score over.

If he gets 3-7-11 via trade, I don't know how you screw it up. Take a dart at the top 15 and throw it, pretty hard to miss this year.

He could have his staff write the wrong name on the card. Sun Yue instead of Yi Jianlian.

He could trade KG for Shawn Marion and the Suns first round pick.

He could agree to pay Paul Pierce under the table to come to Minnesota. (been there done that)

He is going to pass when its their turn because its never been done before and then he's going to try and trade the 7th pick when the draft is over. Thats how good of a gm he really is.

By passing up on Conley, Green, or Yi if available.
