I had my baby 16 months ago and breastfed him until he was about 6 months old, at this stage my milk supply dried up. Now 10 months later my breasts have started leaking milk again, is it normal for them to do so this long after stopping breastfeeing???

I was going to ask if you could be pregnant, but you answered that lol. My sister lactates when she's PMSing or having her period. When you have a new baby, it's nearly like you get a brand new body to deal with too. This may be the way that your body deals with hormone fluctuation. I lactated every time my daughter cried for 14 months after she was born and I never breast fed. Imagine my horror lol. Try getting nursing pads to wear in your bra. Try not to touch your breasts or let anything encourage milk production. If you really get to teh stage where you can't stand it, go see a doctor, but there isn't too much more they can do for you!
It happens with some women where the hormones start secreting more suddenly. But its quite unusal stuff and u should contact ur doctor. For time being, you should certainly pump those milk using ur hand or you can ask your husband to drink them all. Because, if u dont take away that milk, then ur breasts will become sore and will create pain. U can also feed ur baby, but see that he doesnt get adapted to that since he is already 10 months and it may be difficult for u to stop later on.
Is the leaking alot or just a few drops? If its alot to the point of having to change your shirt, you may want to ask your doctor. It could just be hormonal changes or maybe your pregnant again. But if its minor a few drops or if this tends to happen around your period it is perfectly normal. My youngest is 9 years old and when I get my period I still get leaking of a few drops at a time.
Are you pregnant? If your not pregnant and did not just have a baby then you need to make a doctors appointment. It could be an infection or even breast cancer
