Which driver scored absolutley no points, and a best finish of 10th with 8 retirements for Menardi in 2001
I want to see if anyone can get the answer.
I had only asked this question not to dump on Fernando's woes, but me and another person I was talking online with were discussing about drivers who's carrers didnt start off with a bang, but ended up world champions.
Mainly, I wanted to see how fast until someone would get it right, thats all

Firefox has already got Alonso, but another great who had a terrible start was Niki Lauda. No points at all in1972, 12 races producing 7 finishes (best 7th place at Kyalami), 3 retirements, one non-classified finish and a disqualification.
Piquet, Prost and Hakkinen all had first full seasons which didn't go according to plan too: they all finished 15th=, in 1979, 1980 and 1991 respectively. Graham Hill's 1958 season was poor too: one point for 6th at Monza, only one other finish (16th at Casablanca), plus 6 retirements.

Why add to poor Fernando's woes? Its a season he wants to forget, especially with his team mate having the opposite results.
