There are only two options out there for student loans. The first option is a federal loan which is NOT credit based and always the way to go. The downside is that they have really low limits on the maximum you can borrow using these loans. The second type of loan is a private student loan which IS credit based. This means that you must have either good credit yourself or you must have a credit worthy co-signer. There is no way around it. It would seem to me that your husband should re-think helping you out and co-sign or perhaps there is a family member who would do it. But there really is no way around it. Best of Luck and if you find a co-signer, then i would suggest that you compare the different private lenders out there, which can be done at http://www.finaid.org/loans/privatestudentloans.phtml Most of the rates are very similar but do a little research and pick one that you think is best. I would suggest Think Financial. The application process is very quick and easy, and the check is sent directly to you so you can use the money for whatever you want. The limits are much higher with private student loans, up to $40,000 per year. You can find out more information about a Think loan at http://www.thinkfinancial.com . Good Luck.
First you will desire to constantly be conscious for economic help using fafsa whether you do not think of you qualify. then you definitely would desire to be conscious for federal loans. those loans value below the very own ones. After that for the period of the journey that your economic desires are nevertheless not met then and in basic terms then do you talk a private lender. constantly examine THE effective PRINT!!!!
