Why, do you think, that the term "radical" is only used to describe Muslim extremists?
What about Christian radicals? I see plenty of those everyday, one of them runs our country (the USA.) I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, siding with Muslim extremists, but I think the world needs to recognize that Muslims don't encompass all of extremism, but rather a greater population of people are Christian extremists. Does anyone else recognize this?

The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. It has made its "victims" extremely ignorant, and I am truly proud of those who see through its schemes. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islam and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many, MANY Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.
Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed, period. Neither is innocent murder, suicide of any kind, forced marriages or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.
Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. Most of them are only Muslim by name, yet are still accused of acting upon Islamic teachings, when in actuality, they are not. It is not fair for the majority of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occurring. Unfortunately, the Media will never let this be known, making it look like Muslims support these radical actions, when in reality they absolutely do not.
Please refer to the following video. It is very true, and will provide valuable insight; I strongly recommend watching it:
If there were Christian radicals along the same lines as the Muslim, then why are you walking down the street not fearing for your life, or sneaking into a Stabucks and ordering a cafe ole all the while cringing underneath a table? Because you have bought into an insidious caricature. The Muslim radical is real, with deaths every day to prove it.
Yes. It is funny that the christian media will talk about the muslims doing all this fighting amongst their factions. But yet ignore the fighting between christians as well. The forget the churchees that were burned down by christians from another sect. Or how the christians have burned down the meeting halls of other religious groups like pagans in Texas. They refuse to place the same rules that they use on the world on themselves. And that is what makes them so weak and dangerous.
When we refer to radicals having to do with another part of society, we refer to those who have an agenda that includes killing people who are innocent, who just happen to be somewhere. They tend to damage property that is not their own. They do senseless acts of destruction to others and things that belong to others.
It might not always belong to Muslims, but I haven't heard of any riots elsewhere in the US recently. So I guess radical Muslims stand out as the biggest 'radical' currently in the world.
So you are right, it is not only for those who are radical Muslims. But it is still a part of how we see Islam!
Funny thing is, I Googled "radical" and found several pages of radical things, other than Muslim extremists. Maybe you should Google "extremists" and see how soon you find Muslim.
