Usually you get recovery disks with a new computer. Some of that is contingent upon where you purchase the machine.
I have never purchased a Sony computer before so I don't know what their policies are, but most manufacturers are willing to provide customers with recovery disks if you contact customer support and simply ask for them.
If they do charge you anything it might be like $10 for shipping and handling.
