What do you say/do when your friend who you have a crush on is acting like he cares and then he doens't care

My friend I have a crush on says for me to call him and I do. But he'll not answer or he'll tell me that he's tired or busy adn to call him tomrrow. And I beileve him  and tell him that i'll talk to him later.He'll talk to me when I say I have something important to talk to him about. Or he'll call when I can't talk ,but I talk because I'm not sure if I'm gonna talk to him.  I thought our frindship was going well but I'm not so sure anymore. Yeah I understand that when he doesn't call he forgets or is busy but it hurts when I wait for him to call bc he promised me he'd call. I don't even know if my "friendship" with him is worth anything anymore.i don't know if i should contuie to care about him anymore..no matter what he says or does I always forgive him and put it behind me,and pretend everything is fine that our friendship is fine. I dont think I can keep pretending when this is really bothering me. 
What do I do? I'm scared that if I say something to him I'm going to lose him for

If you call him and he tells you that he is busy you should understand because you don't know what he is going through on the other side. It is good that he talks to you whenever you tell him that you have a important thing to tell him. When he calls you try to always talk to him. I suggest you continue caring for him and don't do anything that would spoil your relationship at this point (give him the benefit of doubt for now). Then arrange to meet with him to discuss your concerns, after which you will be able to decide which way to go. I wish you all the best.

Don't run after people that are not running after you!!!! Keep your distance, and wait and see if he will call you, and when he does...do the same thing!! I'm busy, let me call you back, then wait 1-2 days before you do. When on the phone, keep it short and sweet...show him that you are busy too and that you don't wait for him. When you call and he says..oh I'm busy call me tomorrow!! Don't call him back...let a few days pass...and most important, keep your-self busy!!! And sometimes don't pick up the phone when he calls!!! Men love independent woman!!!
