Catch a flight on Wednesday? It just depends how bad the hurricane hits. I hope you can catch a flight on Wednesday because that means conditions hopefully will not that bad in Jamaica. I would call your family and those you need to get a hold of in New York and let them know you may be delayed a while. I would call soon because I expect phone service will be out in a few hours and no telling how long until its back up.

Its Very Hot In Jamaica
Maybe Thursday but incoming flights will not be packed/overbooked as outgoing ones. I think you have a great chance.
