What colour bedding for this makeover?

Question

The room is for a pre-teen girl in a Victorian-styled house. 

The bed, furnishings and trim are white. 

The walls are lilac, like this, and won't be changed:

The carpet is ecru, or dark beige and won't be changed.

Horizontal blinds on the small window are cranberry, but can be replaced. What colour? 

Ideas on colours for the bed and window coverings? Thanks. I've been looking on Sears.ca .

A deeper plum for the bed will really bring out the liliac on the walls and the more neautral rugs for a big pop in the room and some sheer purple coveringsslightly darker then the walls

i would bring out the lilac color in the bedding and get pillows with lilac and pink.  i would do  a sheer window covering

hmmm... Cranberry, Dark beige, and lilac..... I would try different browns to go w/ it, or light beige, or even caramel.

Try JCPenney. They have lots of pre-teen and teen room bedding, accents and accessories.

Other tones of purple or yellow would look great. A pastel yellow...
