Do we need a new Category in Society & Culture called Non-Religion & Materiality?

It seems that the Atheists need a location to drink to their Non-beliefs, so they hang out with those who believe in Divinity to argue their points. Do they really have valid answers in a topic category which they believe is fantasy? Is Religion & Spiritually their fantasy world?

No disrespect here. But does anyone really know what they think they are doing answering questions in Religion & Spirituality?

I don't think the name of a category is going to change the type of answers that are being given. However, I do think a category titled "atheists" would be nice.

I doubt if the theists would respect it and stay on topic, however.

Religion should have sub categories of different religions, like autos has all the different cars, and travel has cities.

Spiritually really is not part of religion, and should be removed completely.

I dunno what the problem here is richard. here in this world lives different people with different beliefs. the best thing actually is for one to be able to communicate with their queries sometimes is to discuss certain matters on a friendly basis. as you will notice different religions have different beliefs and this confuses the atheist people. Atheist people don't believe in god because there are things in the bible that are questionable and they want them answered with proofs. and since most of the time their questions are not satisfactorily answered the more they don't believe. these people are factual people just like a little child who asks questions and want some good answers from their parents. If you are bothered by it then there is something wrong somewhere. Please don't be offended. I'm just trying to make their points across. If on the religions side can answer and explain fully well, in details and fully elaborate on matters being discussed I think the non believers will concede and who knows eventually be on their side.

atheism actually is a religion because it is putting absolute faith in a certain belief. also you could say that atheism is believing in a fantasy, so to speak. religion can only have the truth discovered after we die, making it to late to change our minds. also you might even associate materiality with the ancient Egyptian culture who buried the belongings of a person with them.

i only answer questions associated with my religion, Christianity, and only when i have the answer i know is correct. you may think that," How can an answer to a question with no answer be correct?" keep in mind that i am talking about what i believe so if it is correct in my religion, i say it is correct just as anyone in any other religion would.

Richard
I understand what you are saying but I've seen some interesting questions in the R&S category. Some answers were poignant. In fact I would dare say that some were scholastic. The few inane Q&A's are part of the inevitable opposing ideas that are necessary to force vigilant believers to be more knowledgeable about their own faiths. Without the non-believers there can be no progress and we will fall back into the dark ages. Let the pagans, witches, devil worshipers, and others come and argue. They can trash, ridicule, and be dis-respectful all they want but they will only PROVE one thing. That they are ignorant and all the things they say you (metaphorically) are.
I hope it answers your question. I know you are somewhat venting but I wanted to be respectful of your thoughts and ideas. I hope I did not offend.

Thank you for your question

Yes, I think that would be a good idea. It makes sense to me that only people who believe in some sort of higher power would answer questions in Religion and Spirituality. That is the reason I do not answer questions in the "Horoscopes" category - I do not believe in Astrology, so I do not think that I have anything to contribute to that category.
